I feared the technicalities of the description, those alien chemical balances with uncommon letters like x and z and y strewn throughout. Multi-multi-syllabic. The biohazard sign that would eat me up and spit me out, terminal at thirty-two. I am known for my inattention to detail. Or I know myself for this. Nobody else does. Nobody else cares, I suspect, very much. Having carcinogenic powders floating in the air around my head would not bother me, except maybe later, when the stuff had gone through my system and degraded my artery walls. Most of all, I have no dark room. A bathroom with frosted windows and you can barely see the moonlight reflected off the pool at night, through laced curtains. That is all. So I opted for the un-dark process. Only... CAUTION: Ammonium dichromate is toxic, caustic, and an oxidizer. |
